Health Care Service Event
The specific instance (event) where a Health Care Service was delivered to a patient or group of patients by a regulated Health care Provider.

The Health care Service Event is an abstract concept that standardizes and supports connecting health care service-related events to encounters.

The HSE abstraction:

1. Facilitates analytics in determining the number of HSE occurrences per health care service, location, provider, organization, specialty, category and type for a period of time.
2. Adds flexibility to the LDMs by super-typing HSEs and using common attributes (e.g. event start date) to support other LDMs.
