Requisition Event
The Requisition Event in which a request for one or more laboratory examinations is formally initiated, documented and transmitted to a laboratory, including sufficient clinical and administrative information to enable the laboratory to identify a patient, requested examinations and prioritize work. The event may include providing instructions to a patient (e.g., how to prepare for the test, medication considerations, fasting).<br/>
